My GP to BC Journey

From Sr. Consultant to Internal Sr. Dynamics GP Admin

I started my Dynamics GP journey in 1997.  We were the first reseller of Great Plains in the Philippines. In 2006, I continued my Dynamics GP Senior Consultant career in Washington, D.C.  Travelling to different states for implementation.  It was indeed a wonderful journey!  In 2012, I left consulting to get pregnant. :) Yes! Our son was born in 2014.  I became an internal Dynamics GP administrator at ARC (Airlines Reporting Corp) from 2012 to present.

Celebrating my 25 Years!!!

The Beginning of my Business Central Journey

In September 2022 at DynamicsCon Live, Steve Endow, MVP encouraged me to learn the Microsoft Business Central and I won't forget when Shannon Mullins, MVP gave me my very first access to Business Central environment! :)

I became certified in February 2023.

I can't express enough how much I love our Community.  This is where I meet new set of friends, sharing knowledge to one another, feeling accomplished and fulfilled outside my regular job.  After being nominated 4x for GPUG-ALL STAR, I finally get an award! :)  Thank you Dynamics User Group (DUG) Family for the 2023 Product Expert Award at the DynamicsCon Live!

Bridging the Gap: Dynamics GP to Business Central Table Mapping

Last week, a Business Central developer asked me a simple yet important question: “What’s the customer table equivalent in Dynamics GP?” That moment sparked an idea. As more technical professionals find themselves supporting both Dynamics GP and Business Central—or migrating entirely to the cloud—I realized how helpful a side-by-side table reference could be.  I’ve always admired the work of Victoria Yudin , whose GP table list has been a go-to resource for the entire Dynamics GP community.  Although I’ve never met her in person (not even a photo!), her contributions have left a lasting impact on so many of us working with GP. Inspired by her legacy, I decided to take it one step further by mapping those well-known GP tables to their Business Central equivalents . My hope is that this reference will serve as a bridge for those transitioning to Business Central Whether you're mapping data, building reports, or just navigating unfamiliar territory, I hope t...
